What Bekome is

Bekome helps you read and understand the entire Bible in one year on a 5-day weekly plan, with progress tracking, weekly explanatory videos, Go Deeper on every verse, and community. The reading experience is free, permanently, for every member. Ask Bobby, an AI feature that answers Bible questions grounded in a curated body of sound teaching, includes a free monthly allowance with paid options beyond that. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. You must be 13 or older, with a parent's or guardian's consent if you're under 18.

Getting Bekome through the App Store or Google Play

Bekome is also available as an app on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Using it that way means you're also bound by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement or Google Play's Terms of Service, whichever applies. Your contract for the service itself stays directly with Tevuna Limited, not with Apple or Google.

Reading access

Bekome's reading plan, Bible text, progress tracking, streaks, weekly explanatory videos, community, and Go Deeper (Meaning, Roots, Connections, Live It) on every verse are free, permanently, for every member. No trial, no subscription, no lockout.

Ask Bobby, pricing and payment

Every member without an active pack gets 2 free Ask Bobby questions every month. This resets on the date you created your account, not the calendar 1st, and unused questions don't carry over.
A 10-question pack costs ₦2,000 monthly in Nigeria, $3 monthly elsewhere, and replaces your free allowance rather than adding to it, 10 a month total, not 12. This renews automatically each month for a fresh 10; unused questions from a prior month don't carry forward, and prices can change with 30 days' notice to anyone on the pack.
An annual option is available at ₦20,000 in Nigeria, $30 elsewhere, 10 months' price for 12. Still 10 questions a month, still replaces rather than stacks with the free allowance, still resets monthly with no rollover, just billed once a year instead of monthly.
Payments are processed by Paystack.
If a renewal payment fails or lapses, you keep your current month's questions for a 3-day grace period. After that, Ask Bobby pauses until payment resumes; your reading access, history, and streaks are never affected.
First-time pack purchasers can request a full refund within 7 days of first payment, no questions asked. Email support@bekome.io.

Giving

Beyond sponsoring a specific reader, anyone can give directly toward keeping Bekome running, for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, or continuously. Giving is entirely optional. Reading, Go Deeper, and Bekome's core experience stay free whether or not you give.

Referrals

Refer someone who signs up and stays an active reader for 2 weeks and earn 5 bonus Ask Bobby questions that month, added to whatever your current monthly allowance already is. A second referral in the same month adds another 5. Reach 3 referrals in the same month and instead of the bonuses continuing to add up, that month's Ask Bobby allowance becomes a flat 10, free: if you're on the free tier, your allowance rises to 10 for the month; if you're on a paid pack, that month's charge is waived. This caps at one free pack a month, it doesn't compound further no matter how many people you refer. Credit is automatic once a referred reader crosses the 2-week active mark, no need to ask. Only real, distinct people who actually keep reading count; self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or anything that games the system forfeits the reward.

How Ask Bobby questions are counted

Each message with a real question counts as 1 of your monthly questions, and each answer has a bounded length. Related follow-up parts about the same passage are answered together as 1. If one message bundles several unrelated questions, we answer the first fully and invite you to ask the others separately; the message still counts as 1. Greetings and small talk never count.

Ask Bobby and AI content

Ask Bobby answers are generated by AI, grounded in a curated body of teaching. Ask Bobby is text-only. Answers are teaching aids for your study of Scripture. They aren't professional counsel of any kind, and like all AI systems they can make mistakes. Test everything against the Bible itself.

Broadcasts and spiritual content

Bekome may send you messages from its founder, including encouragement, teaching, and words of spiritual insight or direction. These are shared in good faith to build you up. They are not a substitute for your own prayer, discernment, Scripture, or the counsel of your local church, and Bekome makes no guarantee about them. Weigh everything prayerfully and against the Bible. You can turn broadcast notifications off in Settings.

Bekome Buddy (not yet available)

Bekome Buddy will pair you with another member for mutual spiritual accountability. Before pairing, both of you agree to keep it spiritual and respectful: consistent reading, prayer support, active participation, and a respectful check-in rhythm, with no money, gifts, or personal favours exchanged. You'll be able to block, report, or switch your Buddy at any time. We may unpair, warn, or remove members who break the covenant or the acceptable-use rules below. Buddy interactions stay inside the app; we won't share your contact details with a Buddy, and you shouldn't feel pressured to share your own.

Bible text and translations

Bekome lets you read the Bible in the app, free of charge. The KJV and WEB are public domain; NLT and MSG are licensed from their publishers and shown with the required copyright notice, also free to read. Additional translations are added as licensing is secured and funded; which translations are available can change as new ones are added. Licensed translations stay the property of their publishers: reading them in Bekome doesn't grant any right to copy, redistribute, or reuse them elsewhere.

Acceptable use

Use Bekome for its purpose. Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, scrape or resell its content, impersonate others, or use Ask Bobby to generate content for redistribution as your own. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or other members, with a warning where reasonable.

Your content and ours

Your reading history, notes, and saved conversations are yours; export them anytime. The app, its design, the reading plan arrangement, and the teaching corpus belong to Tevuna Limited and may be used only within Bekome.

Availability

We aim to keep Bekome running around the clock and are honest when it isn't. Planned maintenance gets announced. If an outage costs the community a reading day, streak protection applies automatically.

Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Settings; deletion is covered in the privacy policy. We can close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue Ask Bobby's paid tier, active pack purchasers get a pro-rata refund of any unused period.

Liability

To the extent Nigerian law allows, Tevuna Limited's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

Getting help

Something wrong, confusing, or double-charged? Use the Help section in Settings or email support@bekome.io. We reply within a day, and payment issues get priority.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we change these terms materially, we'll notify you in the app and by email before the change takes effect; continued use after that is acceptance.
