What Bekome is

Bekome helps you read and understand the entire Bible in one year on a 5-day weekly plan, with progress tracking, weekly explanatory videos, community, and Ask Bobby, an AI feature that answers Bible questions grounded in a curated body of sound teaching. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. You must be 13 or older, with a parent's or guardian's consent if you're under 18.

Trial, subscription, and payment

• New accounts get 7 days of full access free, no payment details required.
• After the trial, Bekome requires a subscription: ₦6,000 monthly or ₦60,000 yearly in Nigeria, $8 monthly or $80 yearly elsewhere (the yearly plan is 10 months' price for 12 months of access). Prices can change; existing subscribers get 30 days' notice before any change affects them.
• Payments are processed by Selar. Subscriptions run to the end of the period paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails or lapses, you keep full access for a 3-day grace period. After that, access pauses until payment resumes. Your data, streaks, and history are kept and restored in full.
• Choose monthly or annual when you subscribe. You can switch anytime; the change applies from your next billing period. At launch, switching goes through support and takes a day; self-serve switching arrives with in-app billing.
• Existing community members who prepaid (monthly or the full year) keep the access they paid for; we set your account to match, no double charge.
• First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of first payment, no questions asked. Email support@bekome.io.
• Extra Ask Bobby questions can be purchased in packs (₦2,000 for 5). Packs don't expire.

Sponsored access

Anyone can sponsor another reader's subscription. Sponsorship payments are gifts applied to a recipient's access: they aren't refundable once assigned, the sponsor's identity is never shown to the recipient, and sponsored access works exactly like paid access for its duration.

Grace and catching up

If a payment lapses, access pauses after a 3-day grace window, and nothing is deleted. You can catch up anytime: any payment restores your access and your full history, including streaks and saved conversations, and you can clear more than one month at once. Catching up carries no penalty or fee.

How Ask Bobby questions are counted

Each message with a real question counts as 1 of your monthly questions, and each answer has a bounded length. Related follow-up parts about the same passage are answered together as 1. If one message bundles several unrelated questions, we answer the first fully and invite you to ask the others separately; the message still counts as 1. Greetings and small talk never count.

Ask Bobby and AI content

Ask Bobby answers are generated by AI, grounded in a curated body of teaching, and the audio is a synthesized version of Bobby Joachim's voice created with his consent. Answers are teaching aids for your study of Scripture. They aren't professional counsel of any kind, and like all AI systems they can make mistakes. Test everything against the Bible itself. Your monthly plan includes 3 questions; unused questions don't roll over (purchased packs do). Greetings and small talk never count; only answered questions do.

Referrals

For every 2 friends you refer who become paying subscribers, we move your renewal date 1 month later at no charge. This works on any plan, monthly or yearly, and stacks with the yearly plan's own saving. Only paying referrals count; self-referrals and duplicate accounts don't.

Discounts

Members get a personal invite link. When 2 people you invite become paying subscribers, you earn 1 free subscription month. Referrals count only for real, distinct people who pay; self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or anything that games the system forfeits the rewards. Discount codes, when offered, apply at checkout and can't be exchanged for cash.

Broadcasts and spiritual content

Bekome may send you messages from its founder, including encouragement, teaching, and words of spiritual insight or direction. These are shared in good faith to build you up. They are not a substitute for your own prayer, discernment, Scripture, or the counsel of your local church, and Bekome makes no guarantee about them. Weigh everything prayerfully and against the Bible. You can turn broadcast notifications off in Settings.

Bekome Buddy

Bekome Buddy pairs you with another member for mutual spiritual accountability. Before pairing, both of you agree to keep it spiritual and respectful: consistent reading, prayer support, active participation, and a respectful check-in rhythm, with no money, gifts, or personal favours exchanged. You can block, report, or switch your Buddy at any time. We may unpair, warn, or remove members who break the covenant or the acceptable-use rules below. Buddy interactions stay inside the app; we don't share your contact details with a Buddy, and you shouldn't feel pressured to share your own.

Bible text and translations

Bekome lets you read the Bible in the app. Some translations are public domain (KJV, WEB); others are licensed from their publishers and shown with the required copyright notice. Licensed translations stay the property of their publishers: your subscription lets you read them in Bekome, it doesn't grant any right to copy, redistribute, or reuse them elsewhere. Which translations are available can change as licenses are added or renewed.

Acceptable use

Use Bekome for its purpose. Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, scrape or resell its content, impersonate others, or use Ask Bobby to generate content for redistribution as your own. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or other members, with a warning where reasonable.

Your content and ours

Your reading history, notes, and saved conversations are yours; export them anytime. The app, its design, the reading plan arrangement, the teaching corpus, and the synthesized voice belong to Tevuna Limited and may be used only within Bekome.

Availability

We aim to keep Bekome running around the clock and are honest when it isn't. Planned maintenance gets announced. If an outage costs the community a reading day, streak protection applies automatically.

Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Settings; deletion is covered in the privacy policy. We can close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue Bekome, subscribers get a pro-rata refund of any unused period.

Liability

To the extent Nigerian law allows, Tevuna Limited's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

Getting help

Something wrong, confusing, or double-charged? Use the Help section in Settings or email support@bekome.io. We reply within a day, and payment issues get priority.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we change these terms materially, we'll notify you in the app and by email before the change takes effect; continued use after that is acceptance.
